HA TACO

Our story

From the market, with love.

Our story

From the market, with love.

HaTaco was born from a wish to take a street dish and give it the level and precision of a chef’s plate.

We opened in 2020 in Shuk HaCarmel, wanting to be close to the thing itself: the ingredients and the people. We didn’t want a back kitchen separating us from whoever came to eat; we wanted to see people, feel the energy, and cook in front of them.

Since then we hold to every step: fresh tortillas made daily, meat that goes through careful preparation and cooking, and vegetables cut every morning.

In the end it all comes together into one precise, rich, delightful bite. One that starts on the street, but gets all the attention it deserves.

What makes us different

Three things we never compromise

01

Street, at chef precision

A street dish that gets a chef’s full attention.

02

No back kitchen

We cook in front of you, seeing the people, feeling the energy.

03

Fresh, every day

Hand-made tortillas, carefully prepared meat, vegetables cut each morning.
